Do you know that there are only three simple steps you need to follow in order to keep your new year's resolutions? and here they are for you and your love one's on a platter of gold.
Please adhere strictly to them.
Step 1: Make it a goal and SMART.
A goal is specific, it has a starting point and a time limit.
When you make your new year's resolution a goal, it becomes achievable.
Make it SMART.
Specific,
Measurable,
Attainable,
Realistic, &
Time Sensitive.
Step 2 : Make The Goal Attractive.
This idea has been mentioned by a number of people over the years. Essentially this means that if you want to achieve some goal you have to make that goal as attractive as possible to you. Some people make goals but are not excited by them and then the chance of them achieving what they want starts to diminish.
If you make a goal that is really attractive to you as well as you moving towards to goal the attraction you set up will have a kind of pulling affect that can literally pull you towards the goal.
Step 3 : Belief.
Probably the most important but also the most difficult to accomplish at times. There is a misconception going around that in order to believe in yourself you have to have accomplished riches or success. Then you can believe in yourself - The problem with this is that its not the truth. In fact if you keep thinking this way you will never reach the goals you set for yourself. Belief is the fuel that drives your desires and what pushes you to succeed. Without belief there is no amount of studying you can do, books you can read or video you can watch, success starts with Belief in you.
Here is an exercise you can do every morning and it only takes 5 min to do. After you are awake and going through your morning routine I want you say and do the following:
1. I am confident that I can achieve my goals and I believe in myself.
2. Today is a great day and I believe in my abilities to reach my goals.
3. I am so happy with my actions because my actions are leading me to a successful life.
The power behind this message is not in the words its in the Action itself. By following the above step you will create a habit every morning of believing in yourself and teaching your subconscious mind that you are acting on this belief. The power and the feelings that come from this are the secret that so many millionaires know but its not something that can be taught, it must be experienced. Do not skip this step!
